Flour tortillas
Introduction
Similar to https://www.mexicanplease.com/flour-tortillas-made-olive-oil/ but with more olive oil.
Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup warm water
Instructions
- Combine ingredients using stand mixer and dough hook
- Rest dough ball for 1 hour
- Divide into balls. 9 burritos / 18 tacos
- Optionally let these rest covered in the fridge until needed
- When ready to cook, first flatten a single ball with a tortilla press and then roll out with a rolling pin
- Cook on a comal set at medium heat until brown patches appear and tortilla is cooked through
- Store in tortilla warmer or between towels
- Repeat with remaining dough balls
- Will keeps for a few days in a zip lock bag
